Boft App Terms
Version: 2026-10-28
Effective date: 28 October 2026
About these terms
These terms cover the international Boft mobile app service (the App), provided by SIA Boft, a Latvian limited liability company, registration number 40103957010, registered address Rīga, Matīsa iela 79, LV-1009, Latvia (we, us). Contact us at hello@boft.io or our registered address.
The App lets you prepare a print order. For this phase, payment takes place at a kiosk, not in the App. App availability does not mean that printing is available in every location.
The local print seller
Your physical prints are sold by the independent local operator of the selected kiosk, not by SIA Boft. Different kiosks, including kiosks in the same country, may have different sellers. The local seller is responsible for its print sale, fulfilment, mandatory consumer remedies and any legally required fiscal documents or confirmations.
If you need help identifying the operator of a kiosk or finding its contact details, email hello@boft.io with the kiosk location. The operator remains responsible for providing the seller information, pricing, terms and documents required by applicable law at the required time. These App Terms do not replace the separate terms of a print sale or appoint SIA Boft as the seller.
Preparing or sending an order in the App does not mean that payment has been taken. These App Terms do not determine when a local operator accepts a print order. That depends on the arrangements made with that operator and applicable law; mandatory pre-contract information and consumer rights remain applicable.
For missing, defective or incorrect prints, contact the local seller. We can help route an enquiry sent to hello@boft.io. The absence of a receipt does not by itself remove a claim that can be established using other evidence. Nothing here waives required seller disclosures, documents or consumer rights.
Access and permitted use
You must have the legal capacity or any permission required by applicable law to use the service and enter the relevant contract. These terms do not override protections for children or create a universal minimum age for every country.
Keep your sign-in details secure and tell hello@boft.io if you suspect unauthorised access. You can request account deletion in the App. If an associated order has a payment in progress, the in-app deletion process requires that payment to be completed or cancelled first. You may still contact us about your data rights; an unavailable app control does not remove them. The Privacy Notice explains what is deleted and what is retained.
You may use the App on compatible devices you own or control for its intended functions. Do not copy or resell protected software or branding, interfere with the service, bypass payment at a kiosk, introduce malicious code or use the App unlawfully. This does not restrict rights the law gives you, including applicable interoperability and lawful security-research rights.
You are responsible for your device and network access; your network provider may charge for data. These terms do not introduce an app subscription, prepaid print credit or a paid digital feature.
Your photographs
You retain your rights in the photographs and other material you choose to use with the App. Only provide content you are entitled to use and submit for printing, taking account of the rights of people depicted.
You authorise us and the service providers involved in your request to reproduce, transmit, format and process your content only as reasonably necessary to provide the requested app functions, address a related problem and comply with law. This permission does not transfer ownership or grant a general right to publish your photographs, advertise with them or train models on them.
Check the images and print settings you submit. Keep your original files; the App is not a substitute for your own backup. This advice does not remove our responsibility for our breach or your mandatory rights.
Privacy and choices
Our Privacy Notice explains how personal data is handled, the organisations involved, retention and your rights. Accepting these terms is not blanket consent to optional analytics, marketing or other processing. Any consent required by law must be obtained separately.
Device permissions can be managed through the controls available on your device. Restricting a permission may prevent the associated function from working; the Privacy Notice explains the relevant choices.
Service changes and access restrictions
We will provide the App with reasonable care and skill. Functions may depend on your device, connectivity and the selected kiosk. We do not promise uninterrupted availability; this does not excuse a breach or limit mandatory remedies.
We may make proportionate changes for security, legal requirements, compatibility or service improvements. We will provide any legally required updates, notice and remedies. We will make the revised terms available here and give any additional notice required by law before changes take effect. Changes do not retrospectively rewrite an existing print contract.
We may restrict access for a serious or repeated breach, unlawful activity or an urgent security risk, using the least restrictive reasonable measure. Unless urgency or law prevents it, we will explain the reason and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue. You may ask hello@boft.io to review a restriction. Ending app access does not extinguish existing print-order or complaint rights.
Our responsibility and your rights
We are responsible for our own acts and obligations under applicable law. We do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or intentional misconduct, or death or personal injury where exclusion is prohibited. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer guarantees, statutory remedies or data-protection rights.
Contact hello@boft.io about an App issue. We will consider complaints fairly and respond within applicable legal time limits. You may use competent courts, regulators and any available approved dispute-resolution process. You do not have to contact us first where the law permits direct action.
Mandatory protections under applicable law prevail over these terms. No mandatory arbitration, waiver of collective redress or exclusive foreign-court requirement is imposed here.
App stores and document versions
App stores distribute the App under their own terms; this does not make them the sellers of physical prints. The applicable store software licence continues to govern the software licence. These terms cover our app service and do not replace that licence.
We identify the effective date of each version. A change to these terms does not itself authorise a new personal-data purpose or replace consent where required. If a provision cannot lawfully be enforced, the rest applies only to the extent permitted by law.
